This one started as an experiment, and it turned into a favorite. I pour a layer of our apple chew into the mold first, let it set, then pour buttery caramel right on top. A pinch of Light Grey Celtic Sea Salt from Selina Naturally finishes each bite.
You get two textures in one piece: bright, chewy apple on the bottom and soft, melt-in-your-mouth salted caramel on top. I make these by hand in small batches, so every tray gets my full attention. Sweet, a little salty, and honestly hard to stop eating.
