3. Products and Allergens
• Food Items & Ingredients: We make candy products that may contain dairy (e.g., butter) and other common ingredients such as organic cane sugar, brown sugar, or glucose. Süss Candy is not responsible for any allergic reactions or health-related issues that may arise from consuming our products. Please read product labels carefully and consult a health professional if you have concerns about allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Choking Hazard: Small, hard candy pieces can be a choking hazard. We recommend adult supervision for children under the age of 4 when consuming hard candies.
• Heat Sensitivity: Our candies (including hard candies, “blobs,” caramels, and freeze-dried varieties) may melt or degrade in high temperatures. By purchasing these products, you assume the risk of potential heat-related damage during shipping or if left in hot conditions after delivery.
4. Domestic Shipping Only
• We currently ship our products within the United States only.
• Once packages leave our facility, they are under the responsibility of the carrier. Süss Candy is not liable for shipping delays, damage, or other issues once your order has been handed off. For more information, please review our Shipping Policy.
5. Return & Refund Policy
• We do not accept returns on food products for safety reasons and do not provide monetary refunds. Under certain conditions (e.g., unopened/sealed items damaged in transit), we may issue a replacement. For full details, please see our Return & Refund Policy.
6. Payment & Taxes
• All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors (e.g., Shopify Payments). We do not store your credit card information.
• Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address and applicable state laws. Where required by law, we will collect and remit sales tax. Süss Candy makes no warranty or assumption of liability regarding the legal obligations of individual purchasers. Consult your local tax regulations if you have questions.
7. Pop-Up Events and Farmers Markets
• From time to time, Süss Candy may appear at pop-up events, farmers markets, or other in-person venues. These Terms apply to purchases made through our Site, but any additional or alternative terms for in-person sales will be communicated at the point of sale if necessary.
