If you've tried my Sour Watermelon Chews and thought they could hit harder, these are for you. The watermelon flavor comes from Olive Nation, and hibiscus from Natures Flavors gives them their color. But the real thing here is the coating. Citric acid, malic acid, and sodium bicarbonate combine into a fizzy sour shell that punches you right at the start. It fades into the chew, which is soft and fruity, but that first few seconds is a lot. These are not mild. I make them for people who actually want sour candy to be sour.
