Sour Watermelon Chews

These start sour and sweet with a citric acid / sugar coating that actually makes you pucker but finish with a lovely sweet watermelon flavor. For sure one of my favorite flavors.

The watermelon flavor comes from botanical sources at Natures Flavors or Olive Nation. No artificial anything. The color is red radish, one of my favorite plant-based pigments because it gives such a true, vivid pink without any synthetic dye. Base ingredients are organic unsalted butter, glucose syrup, and pure granulated cane sugar.

Each bag is 80g and holds 10 to 11 individually wrapped chews. Resealable, which matters more than you would think. Keeping them in the fridge extends freshness if you are not planning to go through the whole bag at once.
